Just under two weeks remain before the inaugural one-day festival from Transformer Events takes over Victoria Warehouse. With the aim of bringing an “indoor festival vibe” to the venue with music, a cinema, DJs and food, the event kicks off at 3pm on Sunday 28th May. Cheapest tickets to the festival (at £22.50) look to now sell out this Friday, 19th May.

Headlining the all-dayer will be New York noise-rock titans Swans, Manchester’s own post-punk legends The Fall, This Is Not This Heat and Washington DC garage/psych outsiders Royal Trux. Listen to our playlist previewing the day below.

The all-dayer helps fill a hole left by the departure of ATP Festivals, with fan favourites JC Flowers, Loop and Argentinian duo Mueran Humanos also appearing on the bill. Joining them will be Canadian rockers Suuns, Mike Polizze’s psych-rock project Purling Hiss, New York painter, poet and musician Little Annie and British underground outfit Sex Swing. Read our full preview of the day here.

As well as hosting the alt-rock extravaganza on the 28th, Transformer are also bringing raucous garage rock band Thee Oh Sees to the Academy on 14th June. Frontman John Dwyer recently spoke to Marc Riley ahead of the dates on BBC6 Music. Tickets are available here.
