Cloud Sounds is a free weekly downloadable radio show that has been going since 2006 and has developed a small but fiercely loyal fanbase from all parts of the world. It was one of the first radio show to play artists such as The Voluntary Butler Scheme, Wave Machines, Sweet Baboo, Magic Arm, The Beep Seals, The Loungs, Denis Jones, its a buffalo and many more.

Two years ago, Cloud Sounds began putting on free monthly gigs at South Manchester’s finest music venue, Fuel. In those two years, Cloud Sounds at Fuel has seen explosive sets from The Voluntary Butler Scheme, Tramp Attack, Sweet Baboo, Onions, The Generalissimos, The Loungs, Denis Jones, its a buffalo and has seen extremely rare English gigs from the finest Welsh acts including Y Niwl (playing their first ever gig outside of Wales), Alun Tan Lan, Eitha Tal Ffranco and Jen Jeniro.

Cloud Sounds has also released two records: a compilation entitled ‘The Future’s Bright…The Future’s Cloudy’ and a wonderful split 7″ featuring Manchester’s two finest bands – The Generalissimos and Onions.

The next Cloud Sounds gig is on March 6th and is an album launch for The Loungs second album ‘Big Wow’ on Fresh Hair Records, their follow up to 2007’s ‘We Are The Champ’ released on Akoustik Anarkhy. Suport comes from Onions and Bong Squad. The gig, as always, is free.
