Three very exciting albums have been made available to stream for free online this week. Firstly, Ghostly International released Matthew Dear’s highly anticipated follow up to 2010’s masterful Black City, entitled ‘Beams’. The official release date for the album is Monday 27th August but you can stream the whole album now via Soundcloud.

Secondly, NPR made legendary New York noise-rock band Swans’ new double album ‘The Seer’ available to stream on their website. From what we have heard the album sounds fantastic and features contributions from Low’s Alan Sparhawk & Mimi Parker, Karen O and Jarboe. Oh and the title track is 32 minutes long so you can probably imagine that the album is packed full of sweet, indie-pop ditties! You can stream the whole 2 hours HERE. The band will also play a Manchester date on their upcoming tour. The show is at Soundcontrol on the 17th November.

Finally, Tri Angle Records have just announced that Holy Other’s dark and brooding debut album ‘Held’ has just been made available online via Soundcloud. Anyone who heard his EP ‘With U’ will no doubt be very interested to hear how his music has transferred to the long player format. You can stream the album HERE.
