It’s not long now until Deaf Institute hosts US performer Cold Cave thanks the guys at Now Wave. This Sunday you can catch front man Wesley Eisold bringing his taste of high-octane electro synthpop to Manchester.
Be ready and keep your ears on alert for hints of what is to come on upcoming third studio album ‘Sunflowers’, which is set to be released in 2014. Eisold himself says the new tracks will be a, “mix between some of the bigger sounds on the last album ‘Cherish’ and more minimal stuff I’m interested in now” – sounds like it’ll be a fairly diverse collection this time round.
CC’s sound is like a combination of intense poetic lyricism with thick electronic beats that seem to step out of the mid 1980’s. Expectations are high after last years incredible LP ‘Cherish The Light Years’ so snap up your ticket fast and get ready for a night of unbridled darkwave, noise and synth.
Tickets are £8 advance and available HERE.
