Words by Abby Kearney

Cameron Stallones (Sun Araw) makes music that has been described as gooey, bubbling and waxy. And swampy too. Whatever this means, it sounds great, and it’s probably testament to how interesting his music is that everybody’s so terrible at describing it. He’s released prolifically, including a lots of collaborations, one with legendary reggae group ‘The Congos‘. And his latest album Belomancie, a brilliant record of weird, improvised psych, is suggested to be his best. He’s coming to Soup Kitchen on Sunday 25th September. Book now to find out exactly what bubbling, gooey, waxy music sounds like! Tickets are available HERE.
