The annual tri-city triumph Dot to Dot has scouted yet more songsmiths for its rapidly approaching urban festival. Have a gander at the poster below to see who’ll be joining Mystery Jets, Augustines and The Temper Trap across a mammoth 17 Northern Quarter stages.
Manchester itself is well represented, with Girl Friend, Blooms, Gymnast, and The Bear Around Your Neck some of our picks among the current fertile crop.
The much-touted groove-meisters Spring King even appeared on the latest episode of Jools Holland – a sign that the indie poppers’ rise and rise has been noticed further afield.
This year’s event has migrated across town, with 17 stages dispersed between Northern Quarter bars, venues, places of worship, a real ale brewing pub and even a clothes shop, meaning your mission to join the dots this year will be all the more eventful.
Launching in Manchester on Friday 27 May, the festival will also call at Bristol and Nottingham during the same weekend.
Tickets are available from alt-tickets.co.uk
