The popular pop-up food event B.Eat Street is to make roots in Deansgate from the middle of July. Launching with a summer of eats, beats and booze, foodies from Manchester and beyond will be spoilt for choice.
Their appeal isn’t contained to the casual dining scene though, with an art space, sun decks, bars and the intriguing promise of ‘weird shit’ all being prepared in time for the opening night on Friday 15 July.
Mirroring the more permanent premises of Spinningfields’ The Kitchens while perhaps displaying a positive sign of post-recession commitment and a move away from the fleeting trial-ism of the pop-up fad, the cultural village has recruited a diverse menu across jerk chicken, hot dogs, grilled cheese, Indian spices, bagels and pancakes.
The submissions window is also now open to have work exhibited as part of the inagural collection featured at its Brick House Gallery.
The launch party is on Friday 15 July.
