Singer-songwriter Nick Mulvey has unveiled details of a UK/Ireland seventeen-date headline tour this Autumn following the release of his sophomore LP ‘Wake Up Now’. Appearing at The Ritz this October, news of his follow up to acclaimed 2014 debut ‘First Mind‘ was also supported with an stellar set at Glastonbury this month. A taste of what’s to come on the new album arrives in the form of new single ‘Unconditional’, complete with music video directed by Björk collaborator Bastian Glaessner. Watch below.
Mulvey first found success with acclaimed experimental jazz outfit Portico Quartet. Following a series of successes that saw them nominated for the 2008 Mercury Prize alongside the likes of Radiohead, Adele and Elbow, Mulvey left the group to pursue solo successes. He has since found himself listed as a Mercury Prize nominee once again, with his debut LP. Along with new single ‘Unconditional’, the songsmith has also shared new track ‘Myela‘ this month, in aid of Help Refugees UK.
Nick Mulvey performs at the O2 Ritz on Wednesday 4th October 2017. Tickets are available here.
