Despite years of speculation on sales, closure and redevelopment, legendary Mancunian venue the Star & Garter still stands strong in the ever-changing surrounds of Piccadilly station. Their revered stage has always proudly hosted an eclectic range of acts, and this September will welcome Seattle indie-pop quartet Chastity Belt.

Now with three albums under their belts, the exciting four-piece be heading to the grade II listed venue on Wednesday 6th September. Listen to latest single ‘Different Now’ below.

This June saw the release of their third album ‘I Used to Spend So Much Time Alone‘, their finest full-length to date, a “v chill” mature-and-unsure collection of existential struggles, life as young women, all coated with their usual wry humour. They’ll be supported in Manchester by brothers Eric and Jimi Tormey, with bassist Joseph Hunt – otherwise known as Gang, a Margate trio offering unrelenting psych and sludge.

Chastity Belt perform at Star And Garter on Wednesday 6th September, 2017. Tickets are available here.
