US indie folk act Lord Huron are set to kick off 2018 with a short tour of Europe beginning at our very own O2 Ritz on January 19th. Based in Los Angeles, their 2015 single ‘The Night We Met’ has recently found new life after appearing in Netflix’s ’13 Reasons Why’, with renewed attention pushing the song up US charts.

Inspired by Lake Huron, which band founder Ben Schneider grew up visiting and camping by, the band released debut album ‘Lonesome Dreams’ in 2012. Following the release of the album the group appeared on The Tonight Show and saw their song ‘Ends of the Earth’ featured in the series finale of Community, helping the album reach #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. They’ll be supported at The Ritz by budding young alt-pop talents FLYTE, who have recently been out on the road refining their sets with the likes of The Lemon Twigs and Bombay Bicycle Club.
