Time to get serious about Christmas, and while the live music may begin to dry up as the weather gets wetter, as usual us BagThingers have been picking out the best shows in MCR this week, along with a few festive treats thrown in along the way. Read on for our guide to the next seven days…

Monday 4th: Benjamin Clementine (The Ritz)

Wednesday 6th: Alex Cameron (Gorilla)

// Keeping with music from down under, Gorilla host fellow Aussie Alex Cameron this Wednesday, dropping in with his high-concept alter ego solo project, having followed up on debut LP ‘Jumping The Shark’ with his latest foray into “sleaze pop“, ‘Forced Witness’.

Over in Salford Quays, the UK’s biggest digital light festival ‘Lightwaves‘ will return to MediaCityUK for ten days.

Sunday 10th: Manchester Festive Happening: A Gospel Christmas (The Albert Hall), The Cribs (Gorilla)
