With new album ‘Marble Skies’ still fresh on the shelves, sonic adventurers Django Django will be stepping out onto the stage at The Ritz this March during a new European tour, their first since 2015. Already labelled as “music that sounds close to perfection“, “an album that refuses to sit still” and “a joy ride“, ‘Marble Skies’ has reminded fans why the psych-rock quartet quickly burst onto the national scene so quickly to begin with. Catch material from the new record alongside old favourites on Wednesday 21st March 2018, with last tickets now on general sale now.
‘Marble Skies’ follows their acclaimed 2015 sophomore effort ‘Born Under Saturn’, and has thrown up great new singles ‘Tic-Tac-Toe’, ‘In Your Beat’ and ‘Surface To Air’, all setting the tone for the new record accompanied by a weird and wonderful videos. Returning with their usual, instantly recognisable guitar-led rhythms and tight vocal harmonies, the latest release is a more concise and focused offering which sees the band explore “uncharted territories”. Noted as a return to form, the indie favourites have returned to the “handmade, cut-and-paste approach of the past”. They’ll be supported at The Ritz by Scottish duo Man Of Moon and new outfit from Slow Club’s Rebecca Taylor, Self Esteem.
Django Django perform at The Ritz on 21st March 2018. Tickets are available here.
