The Godfather of Goth returns. Bauhaus singer Peter Murphy is set to tour the UK and Europe this winter to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the band, playing their classic 1980 debut album ‘In The Flat Field’ in its entirety, accompanied with founding member and bassist David J. The two will reunite with o play other “Bauhaus classics” on offer during the new tour, which will see them drop into the Ritz this December. Tickets are now on sale.

Bauhaus originally formed in England in 1978, the band quickly rose on the post-punk and gothic scene, combining art school rock with bleak aesthetics, dark glam and minimalist music. Through their career was brief, Bauhaus released four pioneering records, helping bring the genre into the popular consciousness, before Murphy moved onto successful solo career with nine studio albums to his name.
