Formed in Hampshire in 1999, rock five-piece Hundred Reasons found themselves in the right place at the right time to ride the wave of post-hardcore and emo admiration taking over Britain in the noughties. Last year, founding members Colin Doran and Andy Gilmour began playing acoustic sets of Hundred Reasons material under the name Undead Raisins, refining their set on the festival circuit. Now, the band have announced six UK dates this autumn, stopping off at the Night & Day Café on 28th October.
Formed in late 1999, the rock outfit have released four studio albums with six top 40 hit singles to their name, selling in excess of 400,000. They celebrated the tenth anniversary of debut album ‘Ideas Above Our Station’ in 2012, met with widespread acclaim on its release. Their evening at Night & Day will be their first appearance in the city for six years, with support from singer-songwriter Holiday Oscar, offering “folk-hewn nuggets delivered with a dollop of psychedelic pop“.
Undead Raisins perform at The Night & Day Café on Sunday 28th October 2018. Tickets are available here.
