Neo-soul vocalist Yemi Bolatiwa will bring her brand new live band to Soup Kitchen this winter, launching latest EP ‘Takin Over’. Together with her exciting live band, Yemi’s sound encompasses classic soul, R’n’B and hip-hop, mixed with plenty of beats and bass. She unveils the new EP on Thursday 20th December at Soup Kitchen, with tickets on sale here at just £9.

Born in London but based in Manchester, Yemi is also lead singer with side project Pareidolia, another high-flyer on our neo-soul scene. Her latest solo EP is a “celebration of soul, dub and electronic music”, with the promise of some exciting new remixes. Support for the show at Soup will come from some of Manchester’s finest DJs and artists including Katbrownsugar, Jade Parker, Kemani Anderson, Modern Persian and more. Get on down!
