On 7th + 8th March 2019, global music network Un-Convention celebrate their 100th event with a gathering of artists, labels, venues and promoters from across the UK and Europe. Taking place at the NIAMOS art centre, the two-day conference will examine sustainable careers in music, effective release and live strategies, the challenges for artists in the modern era, ideas to better collaborate with European scenes post-Brexit, mental health, music as a tool for social change, and a host of other key issues in the current independent sector.
Offering live performances, workshops and panels, the event will also be an opportunity to build networks with other artists, labels and promoters from across the country, with guests Cooking Vinyl, Hospital Records, Leaf Label, The Orchard, Big Scary Monsters, Ditto, Skiddle, Featured Artist Coalition, Love Music Hate Racism, The Music Venues Trust, The Musicians’ Union, The Association of Independent Promoters and a host of others. Tickets are just £28.00 for the two days.
