This Record Store Day, Manchester will add to an already excellent roster of record shops dotted across the city. Taking over the former Deco Records site on Egerton Crescent in Withington, new store Wilderness will offer an eclectic selection of vinyl, with one distinctive edge over competitors… Fans can peruse through stacks of vinyl, and also sit back and relax with a range of beers and wines, along with the venue’s very own Wilderness gin and tonics. The store will also sell freshly made toasties, cakes and pastries, and also has plans to expand and add a garden terrace.

Opening on Record Store Day 2019, Wilderness will celebrate by throwing an all-day party, with complimentary drinks and a tote bag handed out with every vinyl purchase. Fans will also be given a gin and tonic voucher, redeemable at their free after-party just ’round the corner at Solomon’s. Keeping the party going from 8pm, attendees can expect some great surprises and giveaways, alongside live music and DJ sets until 2am, with appearances from local favourites PINS, Heavy Salad and Leather Party.

Wilderness opens on Saturday 13th April 2019. For more information, click here.
