Another hugely successful Manchester International Festival came to an end over the weekend, following 18 days of internationally acclaimed music, art, theatre and more. Whilst our musical calendar is quieter with festival season in full flow, here’s what you can look forward to this week in Manchester…
Monday 22nd: Dälek @ Soup Kitchen

Wednesday 24th: Action Bronson @ The Ritz

Thursday: Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg Feat. Greg Hetson @ Gorilla
// Drummer Marky Ramone helps keep the legacy of the Ramones alive with a rare appearance in Manchester.
Friday 26th: Gomez @ The Ritz
// Indie-rock stalwarts Gomez revisit their revered second album ‘Liquid Skin’ for its 20th anniversary.
Saturday 27th: Crying Beauty Queens @ Castle Hotel
// The Castle Hotel hosts alt-rock folkies Crying Beauty Queens, with support from Yorkshire three-piece The Hyde.
Sunday 28th: Jenny Lewis @ RNCM
// We end the week with singer-songwriter and actress Jenny Lewis at the Royal Northern College Of Music concert hall, following the release of her latest album ‘On The Line’.
