Omar Souleyman (Syria’s biggest pop star) has announced a special Manchester date as part of the FutureEverything Festival. The show takes place at Soundcontrol on May 14th. The show features support from Mark Ernestus & Paul St. Hilaire, King Midas Sound [live], Demdike Stare [live], Andy Votel, Conor Thomas.

The heavyweight event also features the Manchester debut of King Midas Sound, the roots-heavy dub and dancefloor crossover brought to you by The Bug and Roger Robinson along with a DJ set from the obsessive collectors behind Modern Love project Demdike Stare. Support comes from Manchester’s Finders Keepers collective and Boomkat music obsessive Conor Thomas.”
