Manchester’s ‘Last Harbour’ are setting out on a UK tour this week including a date at The Deaf Institute on April 6th. Their latest album ‘Volo’ (Little Red Rabbit Records) has been highly acclaimed in the press since its release in late February.
ARTROCKER: “4/5. Rather beautiful and at times menacing. Recalls the Black Heart Procession or Dirty Three.”
UNCUT: “With their gothic archness and deathly strings, Last Harbour’s fourth LP ‘Volo’ is their most expansive to date.”
CLASH: “A perfectly realised example of their modus operandi.”
MOJO: “Exhibits so much literary dexterity and multi-instrumental skill you feel duty-bound to surrender.”
DROWNED IN SOUND: “Rich and foreboding, tracing a thread back to the post-industrial soundscapes of Joy Division.”
Here is a very nice video for their latest single ‘Lights’
