Following on from their brutally ambitious debut, we bring you the second single from Manchester five-piece Hartheim.

Created in the SWAYS Records Bunker with producer Martin Hurley (Pins, Kult Country, Great Waves) ‘Welcome to Hartheim’ serves as introduction to both the historic name of the band, and the band itself. The track has all the markers of anthemic pop, albeit warped and distorted to create the juxtaposition of light and dark they admittedly desire. Detailing the unparalleled suffering that took place within the castle of their title, the three-minute sprawl slithers through an atmospheric narrative before arriving at a devastating climax. They are clearly not in the business of avoiding difficult subjects.

With early support coming from the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs & Steve Lamacq, Hartheim are gathering pace, with many plans afoot for the immediate future.

They will be supporting BIRD at the First Chop Brewing Arm, Manchester on Saturday 21st June, with another announcement to come in the following weeks.
