This April sees the relocated Drive Like Jehu ATP Festival on our Greater Manchester doorstep.

The event had been scheduled for North Wales, but Pontins’ loss is Manchester’s gain. The venue change means punters will need to find their own accommodation, without the festival’s usual chalet-based lodgings, but for those with an M postcode, it saves the travel down to Prestatyn.

The cult US post-hardcore band Drive Like Jehu have curated a bill and extended warm invitations to the likes of Metz, Wire, Rocket From The Crypt and Hot Snakes.

The ATP crew return to our fair shores after a summer sunning themselves in anticipation of horror scorer extraordinaire John Carpenter’s two-day residency at Albert Hall.

The man responsible for soundtracking Halloween, Assault On Precinct 13, Dark Star and They Live brings his live sci-fi show to the city in time for the Halloween weekend. One half of the residency is already sold out, so act quickly to avoid a shocking night at home wondering what might have been.
