Surfer Blood hit the ground running back in early 2010, when their debut LP Astro Coast was met with huge acclaim. They captivated listeners with their buzzing, youthful exhuberance and anthemic shout-along hooks. Following two troubled years including line-up changes and the tragic passing of guitarist and founder Thomas Fekete in May of last year, the Floridian outfit are marking a return to record with new LP, Snowdonia.

Having spent another prolific year on the road in 2016 including six dates in China, the indie quartet will be back on a US/UK tour this Spring, filling the Soup Kitchen basement on 19th March with what will be another up-tempo and assured performance, fronted by singer/songwriter John Paul Pitts. Listen out for a fantastic live version of their breakthrough single Swim (To Reach the End).

If the stomping new singles Matter Of Time and Six Flags In F Or G (a tribute to the late Fekete) are anything to go by, Snowdonia is going to be a lively and as catchy an affair as ever, released on Indiana’s Joyful Noise Recordings, February 3rd.
