It’s been two years since US singer-songwriter Chastity Brown brought her blend of folk, pop, soul and gospel in one neat, laid-bare package at The Ruby Lounge. Hailing from Minneapolis, she visits Manchester once again this week, performing an intimate gig at Gullivers displaying refined, Americana roots songwriting.
Though difficult to place Brown within a genre, her thoughtful but fierce songwriting has quickly found a new following in the UK, supported with latest album ‘Silhouette of Sirens‘. Appearing at Gullivers on 12th June, Brown is playing ten dates across the UK this month offering fans a chance to catch her sweeping, emotionally charged voice on the stage. Support comes from alt-Americana singer-songwriter Dom Major and Manchester’s own Taff Jr.
Chastity Brown performs at Gullivers on Sunday 12th June. Last tickets are available here.
