In a career stretching across six decades, seminal US soul singer Lee Fields knows a thing or two about putting on a good show. Fans will be excited to hear then that, backed by his band The Expressions, the James Brown-influenced vocalist and songwriter will be appearing at Gorilla on 24th January.

Active since the late sixties, the North Carolina native possess an impressive array of albums under his belt, the last of which came in 2016 in the shape of ‘Special Night’. Following something of a new soul revival in the past decade, Fields is showing no signs of slowing down, and recent years have also seen him team up with French DJ and record producer Martin Solveig for ‘Jealousy‘ and ‘I Want You‘. He was last in town following a superb night supporting Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings at The Albert Hall in 2014. Last tickets remain for your chance to be there.
