Aussie singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett is heading out on an extensive tour of Europe and the US in anticipation of her forthcoming sophomore album ‘Tell Me How You Really Feel’, out on May 18th. On a string of European dates, the Melbourne grunge songstress will grace the Albert Hall with another deadpan rocker offering on June 4th 2018.
Although it’s been three years since Barnett released her last studio solo record, the debut album ‘Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit’, she’s been keeping busy with stand-alone single ‘How to Boil an Egg’, released last summer before a compelling collaboration with Philly slacker Kurt Vile, releasing daydream album ‘Lotta Sea Lice‘.
The witty singer-songwriter has already given us a taste of new album with lead single ‘Nameless, Faceless’, a “savagely clever, grunge-pop rallying cry, you won’t want to get on Barnett’s bad side”. Catch her distinctive blend of rock, psychedelia and folk anthems in the flesh at the Academy this summer, with tickets now on sale at just £22.50.
Courtney Barnett performs at the Albert Hall on Monday 4th June 2018. Tickets are available here.
