Cassidy Stone are a local soulful indie pop band, formed by singer-songwriter Tim Gallagher, guitarist Chris Liggett, bassist James McClean and drummer Will Raybould. They’re playing a special headline show at The Castle Hotel on 9th November with support from budding London songstress Natalie Shay. Eagle-eared fans may have even heard recent single ‘Lipstick’ pop up in Love Island this year… The indie quartet have promised something new for fans at The Castle, with tickets now on sale for £7.
// Is there anything you’re working on we should know about?
Aside from our November headline show, we’re looking at releasing another single sometime soon, probably Q1 of 2019. We’re aiming to play out in some new markets with a possible upcoming tour as well.
// Where do you see yourself in the next 12 months?
Regularly playing out of town and building hard ticket numbers all over.
// If you could master one instrument, what would it be?
I think everybody wants to be sick at playing the drums, even if you have no interest. It’s just a dope instrument. Also Sax.
// Do you have a favourite venue in Manchester?
Gotta be the Deaf Institute where we recently supported YoungBlood Brass Band. We’d love to be able to play the O2 Apollo though.
// What was the last film you/you all saw?
To be honest we’ve never watched a film together as a band, but I did just finally get round to watching ‘Drive’.
// What is your favourite song to perform?
We all really like performing ‘Swear She’ll Be The Death of Me.’ That’s a great tune that Tim wrote with some of the guys in Rixton.
// What music have you been listening to this week?
A lot of Anderson Paak, Tom Misch, Charlie Puth, Bruno Major. Tim’s a big fan of The Spice Girls as well.
// What’s your favourite emoji?
